According to a report by PTI, players like Rohit Sharma, Shubman, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Jitesh Sharma have passed fitness tests. In which DXA / Dexa (DXA) scan was also taken along with Yo-Yo (Intermittent Recovery) test.

Rumors of Bronco Test.

In such a situation, according to a lot of reports, the Bronco Test has been mentioned which is a shuttle-ran-based test. The player will have to run an up to (20m/40m/60m) to pass it. But Bronco has no relation with the current fitness test. According to experts, it had the emphasis on Yo-Yo + DXA and Bronco did not apply everywhere.

What is DXA SCAN?

DXA (dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry) is done for accurate assessment of body-competition (such as bone, muscle, body-fat percent), which shows how the player’s bones, muscle, body facts are healthy.

What is YO-Yo Test?

This is an Indian/shuttle-run-based aerobic/intermittent endu ранс test, which is done to measure the interval stamina of players. In this, players run between two lines up to 20 meters according to the sound of beep, and the recovery period of 10 seconds comes in between so that the players can rest for 10 seconds.

Rohit’s passing in this fitness test shows his ODI Future. While the passing of Shubman Gill and the remaining players participating in the Asia Cup is a positive sign. This is also more important for Shubman Gill because recently he returned home from Dilip Trophy due to fever. In such a situation, passing their fitness test is good for the Asia Cup to maintain balance in the team.
